Profiles per device type
Each device type has a profile that defines how it connects, how its data is read, which alarm rules apply and which processing flow it follows. A new device inherits all of that when it is registered.
Registration and configuration
AKIoT delivers the devices preconfigured for their use: measurement interval, transmission interval and thresholds agreed with the customer. On the platform they are registered one by one or in bulk, and assigned to the right customer and site.
Sites, rooms and devices
Devices are organised in a hierarchy that mirrors reality: a pharmacy chain, each pharmacy, each refrigerator and the logger that watches it. Alarms and dashboards follow the same structure.
Fleet status
For each device you can see its last communication, its battery level and its signal quality, so that a logger that has stopped reporting is spotted before an important reading is missed.
