Data is not locked in: devices connect over standard protocols, and results go on to each company's own systems.
Devices from other sources
Besides AKIoT's own devices, the platform receives data over open protocols (MQTT, HTTP, CoAP, LwM2M and SNMP) and, through a gateway installed on site, from industrial protocols such as Modbus, OPC UA or BACnet. A PLC or an existing instrument can join the same dashboard as the new sensors.
Towards other systems
A complete REST API lets any application query devices, readings and alarms, and a real-time connection lets it subscribe to the data as it arrives. From the rule flows, the platform can also call external services and publish to message queues.
Bespoke integrations
AKIoT's team develops the integrations the interface does not cover: with an ERP, with a quality management system or with the customer service platform.
